How he behaves
Quiet, and out of the way
Most screen ornaments ask for attention. He was built to be easy to forget until you want him.
He hangs, he does not perform
No swinging, no bouncing, no animation loop. He hangs still from his cord and costs nothing per frame until you offer flowers.
A tap is an offering
Touch him and marigold petals fall. Offer again while they are still falling and a second shower joins the first rather than replacing it.
He never gets in the way
The layer he lives in passes every click straight through to the page beneath. Only the idol itself takes a click, and on the desktop app only his silhouette does, not the box around him.
Three idols in the pack
Each is a cut-out photograph with its own hang point, so the cord attaches where it should, at the crown rather than at the middle of a bounding box.
Quiet by default
Nothing plays sound unless you ring the bell yourself. Reduced motion is honoured: the petals settle in place instead of falling.

On a Mac
The app is not signed by Apple yet, so the first time you open it, right-click the app and choose Open rather than double-clicking. Once only.
On Windows
SmartScreen will say the publisher is unknown, because the installer is not signed yet. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
Both warnings are because the builds are not yet signed with a developer certificate. That costs money every year, and it will be done when this has earned it.
