Short, because there is little to tell.

What this site never does

  • There are no accounts, so there is nothing to sign up to and no password to lose.
  • Nothing on this site asks you to type anything, except the payment id on the recovery page.
  • There are no adverts, and there never will be.
  • Nothing collected here is sold, shared or used to follow you anywhere else.

Visits

Visits are counted with Google Analytics: which pages are opened, roughly where in the world from, and which parts of a page were used, such as a teaching read or a prayer opened. Advertising and personalisation signals are switched off, so none of it feeds advertising anywhere.

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. If you would rather not be counted, any content blocker will stop it and the site works exactly the same without it.

If you buy Ganapathi Dangle

Payment is taken by Razorpay, who are a licensed payment gateway. Your card or bank details go to Razorpay and never touch this site or its servers: there is nowhere here that could receive them. Razorpay handles that data under their own privacy policy.

When a payment completes, this is recorded so that your download links can be made again if you lose them: the payment id, the order id, the amount, and the email address and phone number you gave Razorpay at checkout. That record is kept in Amazon DynamoDB in the Mumbai region. It is kept for as long as the product is sold, so that recovery keeps working, and it is used for nothing else. No marketing email is ever sent from it, because no marketing email is sent at all.

Downloads

The installers sit in private storage. A download link is signed for you when you buy and stops working after twenty-four hours, which is why the recovery page exists. Amazon records ordinary server logs for these requests.

Where things are

The site is served from Amazon CloudFront and stored in Amazon S3 in the Mumbai region. Fonts are served from this site itself, not from Google, so reading a page here tells Google nothing beyond what the analytics above records.

Asking for your record, or its removal

Write to lokesh.rajendran.threads@gmail.com with your payment id and you will be told exactly what is held, or have it deleted. Deleting it means the recovery page can no longer make links for that purchase, so keep your download somewhere safe first.

You will hear back within two working days.
