Terms and conditions

In plain words, because a policy nobody can read protects nobody.

Who you are dealing with

This site and Ganapathi Dangle are run by Lokesh Rajendran, trading as Ganapathi Bappa. You can reach a person at lokesh.rajendran.threads@gmail.com.

What is free, and what is not

Everything written on this site is free to read and always will be: the teachings, the prayers, the stories and the practice. Nothing there is behind a payment, and nothing there requires an account.

Ganapathi Dangle is a piece of software sold for ₹99, once. That is the only thing on this site you can buy.

What you are buying

A licence to use Ganapathi Dangle on machines you personally own or use, for as long as you like. You may install it on more than one of your own machines. You may not sell it, rent it, or pass it off as your own work. You may of course tell anyone you like about it.

The purchase covers every update within version 1. A future version 2, if there ever is one, may be a separate purchase.

What is not promised

Ganapathi Dangle is an ornament and an affection. It does not bring luck, fortune, prosperity, protection or divine favour, and nothing on this site should be read as saying otherwise. Buying it is not a religious act and confers no spiritual merit.

The software is provided as it is. It is made with care and used daily by the person who made it, but it is not warranted to be free of faults, and it is not suitable for anything critical. To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to what you paid.

Delivery, refunds and your data

Delivery is immediate and digital; see the delivery policy. Refunds are covered by the refund policy. What this site records about you is set out in the privacy policy.

Changes and disputes

These terms may change; the version on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to it. Indian law governs these terms, and the courts of India have jurisdiction.

If something has gone wrong, please write before anything else. Most things are fixed by a person reading an email.
